BlueVoyant Strengthens Presence in Latin America through Regional Expansion and Partnerships

November 23, 2020

New York, N.Y., November 24, 2020: BlueVoyant, a cybersecurity services company, today announced the launch of operations in Colombia, a strategic market in which it plans to expand its operations and partner network, as well as to neighboring countries. BlueVoyant is aggressively building a regional team to help support this expansion and to further stimulate business growth in the region, following service launches in Central America, Chile, Ecuador, and Brazil.

BlueVoyant’s growing in-region presence will allow it to work closely with partners who are looking to enhance, expand, accelerate, or establish their own cybersecurity offerings by reselling BlueVoyant’s extensive portfolio of services. This includes a suite of Managed Security Services (MSS), including Managed Detection and Response, and incident remediation, as well as a diverse portfolio of Threat Intelligence services.

BlueVoyant’s additions to its Colombia-based sales and marketing teams include two Regional Sales Managers, Adriana Durán and Liliana Antolinez, who together possess deep and varied experience in the cybersecurity and technology sector.

Adriana Durán brings over 20 years of expertise to BlueVoyant, both as Commercial VP of Bogota-based Multisoft S.A.S., and subsequently as Territory Manager of cybersecurity consulting firm, Widefense. Liliana Antolinez is similarly experienced, serving as a technical consultant, before holding a prominent sales role at leading analyst firm, Gartner. She subsequently served as the Channel Manager for LATAM at McAfee, followed by a six-year tenure at Fortinet.

BlueVoyant’s Colombian team has also been bolstered by the appointment of LATAM Marketing Manager, Daniel Rojas. Daniel brings 21 years’ experience to BlueVoyant, previously serving as Regional Marketing Manager within blue-chip organizations such as IBM, Symantec, and SAP. BlueVoyant is currently recruiting candidates for additional roles in Colombia and Central America; the firm previously established operations in both Panama and El Salvador.

“Adding over 60 years of experience to our LATAM team with the addition of Adriana, Liliana and Daniel, is testament to both our incredible growth in the last 12 months, and increased demand from organizations requiring next-generation cybersecurity services and support, which is why we are now actively recruiting new partners,” comments Jarrett Benavidez, Vice Chairman of BlueVoyant International and Latin America Business Head. “Recent research that we have undertaken into third-party cyber risk demonstrates the challenges that cybersecurity leaders are facing. Strengthening our overall proposition to existing and new partners, through a comprehensive partner program, will enable us to address these complex and evolving threat vectors, all the way through to resolution.”

BlueVoyant recently conducted research into cyber risk across the extended vendor ecosystem in Mexico, as part of a global research program. The study, conducted among 300 CISOs, CIOs and CPOs, in six sectors in the country, revealed that 89% of organizations have suffered a data breach within the supply chain. Furthermore, only 1% of respondents monitor their third-party vendors daily. This is further evidence that BlueVoyant’s services are much needed in the region.

Further building upon the exponential growth of the business in LATAM, BlueVoyant is hosting a virtual partner event on November 26th, enabling it to demonstrate its global and regional cybersecurity expertise to key technology customers and prospects in the region. This includes BlueVoyant’s end-to-end MSS, Threat Intelligence, Professional Services and Cyber Risk Management (CRx) solutions.

“Latin America is of critical, strategic importance to BlueVoyant. Therefore, extending our presence in the region makes perfect sense, and will only help to foster continued worldwide growth,” adds Jim Rosenthal, co-founder and CEO of BlueVoyant.
