The Top Women in Cybersecurity list was created by IT World Canada in association with the Canadian Chapter of the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA) and the Women in Security Forum to recognize women who have advanced the Canadian security industry. Twenty women, including Vicinanzo, were named to this year’s list.
“I am honored to be named to IT World Canada’s Top Women in Cybersecurity,” said Vicinanzo. “One of my passions is bringing women into the field of cybersecurity. Women belong at all tables where decisions are made, and among those most important decisions are protecting an organization’s critical digital ecosystems. This award and program will hopefully inspire more women to pursue cybersecurity careers.”

In 2020, BlueVoyant acquired Managed Sentinel, a Toronto-based company and leader in Microsoft Security deployment and management, to better serve customers in Canada and globally.
"Amanda’s experience, leadership, and dedication to mentorship have led BlueVoyant to great success, and even more importantly, helped our clients to improve their cyber defenses,” said Marius Mocanu, president and co-founder of Managed Sentinel. “We are delighted to see her success being recognized in IT World Canada’s Top Women in Cybersecurity."
