Craig Hurley of BlueVoyant Honored as a 2023 CRN Channel Chief
February 6, 2023
NEW YORK, February 6, 2023 — BlueVoyant, an industry-leading cyber defense company that combines internal and external cybersecurity, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Craig Hurley, BlueVoyant’s head of channels on its 2023 Channel Chiefs list. Every year, this list honors the IT channel executives who work tirelessly to advance the channel agenda and deliver successful channel partner programs and strategies.
Hurley has more than 20 years of channel sales, product management, and IT experience. At BlueVoyant, he oversees the company's award-winning global channel program, which has aided the company’s high-growth. His charge includes developing the strategy, governance, and results of the BlueVoyant partner program and channel ecosystem.
Before joining BlueVoyant, Hurley led the development and implementation of Sirius Computer Solutions’ managed services portfolio, which was recently acquired by CDW. Hurley’s previous leadership roles include management positions at Forsythe Technology, TierPoint, and NTT Communications. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
"I’m honored to be recognized by CRN as a channel leader,” said Hurley. “We are continuously working to further BlueVoyant’s channel growth and market penetration. This recognition serves as a testament to our efforts to create a channel-first company, providing ongoing support and loyalty while improving partner technical skills, and delivering superior services that offer an unbeatable competitive advantage."
On the award, David Carlson senior vice president of America Sales at BlueVoyant, said: “Craig’s channel leadership and his IT experience have bolstered BlueVoyant’s channel strategy and the company’s rapid growth. I am excited to see his success and dedication recognized by CRN. BlueVoyant is committed to being a channel-first company, and working with our valued partners to deliver end-to-end cyber defense solutions to help them stop the latest cyber threats.”
The naming of Hurley to BlueVoyant to CRN’s Channel Chiefs list follows a number of accolades the company received from CRN throughout the past 2 years. In addition to being featured on the 2022 Security 100, and receiving its 5-star rating in the 2022 and 2021 Partner Program Guides, BlueVoyant was included in the First-Ever MES Matters – Key Vendors Serving the Midmarket List. In 2021, BlueVoyant appeared on the CRN 2021 Emerging Vendors list.
BlueVoyant’s partner program has expanded the company’s reach and brings the company’s unique capabilities to new clients. BlueVoyant plans to launch its new BlueVoyant Nebula Partner Program soon to drive profitable and sustainable growth for partners. The new program will make it easier for partners to work with BlueVoyant and offer additional support to help partners grow their security business.
The 2023 Channel Chiefs have helped their solution provider partners and customers navigate an increasingly complex landscape of interconnected challenges and shifting industry dynamics. With the innovative strategies, programs, and partnerships of these Channel Chiefs in place, the solution provider community has continued to thrive.
The 2023 winners were selected by the editorial staff based on their record of business innovation and dedication to the partner community. This year’s list represents the top IT executives responsible for building a robust channel ecosystem.
“Once again, this year’s list gives well-deserved recognition to the IT Channel Chiefs who are dedicated to driving the channel agenda and advocating for the development of strong channel partnerships,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “Under their exceptional leadership, influence, and innovation, the IT channel vendor community continues to deliver solutions and services that meet the rapidly evolving needs of their solution provider partners and their customers.”
The 2023 CRN Channel Chiefs list will be featured in the February 2023 issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
