June 22, 2022
BlueVoyant recognizes that Mexico is one of the largest and most promising Fintech ecosystems in Latin America. Nearly 90% of Mexican companies increased their technological investment as a result of the pandemic, according to ComputerWeekly.
David Archundia and María Esther Viso lead the commercial team in Mexico, with growth plans for the local risk-management and cybersecurity markets.
MEXICO CITY, June 22, 2022 - BlueVoyant, a rock-solid cyber defense platform company converging internal and external security, has announced that it will reinforce the company's business strategy in Latin America with two professionals in the cybersecurity field. David Archundia and María Esther Viso, who have been with BlueVoyant Mexico for the past year as part of the region's commercial team, are in charge of leading the expansion and growth plan in the local market. They will focus on enhancing market opportunities, mainly with large- and medium-sized companies, as well as the fintech sector.
Archundia is a technical solutions architect based in Mexico. He brings more than 19 years of experience and leadership in cybersecurity, technology, and infrastructure. He specializes in areas including support, strategic technology alliances, product, architecture, presales, price/cost analysis, and marketing. His extensive IT experience has enabled him to guide, direct, and influence clients in decisions regarding cutting-edge solutions as a managed service.
Viso is a regional sales manager based in Mexico. She is an information security professional with more than 10 years of experience. Additionally, she is in charge of leading the commercial and relationship strategy of the teams in Mexico, and in some key countries in Latin America for key clients, and incentivizing strategic agreements that combine infrastructure, products, and services. Viso's goal is to become a security advisor for clients, attending to their specific needs and characteristics.
As a result of the pandemic, the accelerated digital transformation in Mexico and around the world has catapulted cybersecurity into companies’ priorities seeking to overcome financial, operational, and reputational risks in a digital environment. This is especially true given the dizzying pace of market growth, which is increasingly focused on digital operations.
In fact, according to the most recent report, "The New Reality of Cybersecurity in Mexico," developed by Schneider Electric and Oxford Business Group, while other markets reduce spending on information technology, Latin America is expected to accelerate digital investment in the next few years. Eighty-nine percent of Mexican companies had to increase their investment in IT programs.
"BlueVoyant is on a high-growth trajectory in the region,” said Gadi Goldstein, president of BlueVoyant, international. “David and Maria Esther will play a strategic role in our local business plan to educate companies on the growing need to strengthen technology risk management in a region in which there is still a lot of work to do in terms of knowledge, investment, and talent in IT and cybersecurity issues. At BlueVoyant, we have the ideal combination of global knowledge and a deep understanding of the local market, which will allow us to become strategic partners for companies that require tailored solutions to defend themselves against increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks, which this accelerated new landscape entails.”
