Cyber Risk Monitoring for ISACs: An Innovative, Collaborative Approach to Third-Party Management

BlueVoyant recently announced its strategic partnership with the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC), the central organization for cybersecurity collaboration in the automotive industry. 

Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) are important organizations that provide a central resource within a given sector for gathering, analyzing, and sharing information on cyber threats and vulnerabilities. These centers facilitate collaboration and communication among their members, including industry best practices and peer insights into common vendors, in order to enhance the collective security posture of the sector.

ISACs are phenomenal tools and support structures for their member organizations. By leveraging the ISAC, members collectively enhance their cybersecurity capabilities by sharing and analyzing information on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies, thereby strengthening overall resilience against cyber incidents.

The BlueVoyant—Auto-ISAC partnership will enable Auto-ISAC to deploy BlueVoyant’s Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) platform to assess supplier cyber posture with AI-supported questionnaire management, continuous monitoring of suppliers and dedicated risk remediation support. The platform and related services will serve member organizations, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), external risk assessors and suppliers.  

With the usage of BlueVoyant’s TPRM platform, Auto-ISAC members will benefit from: 

• Continuous monitoring of supplier cyber risk, with alerting and insights on common shared risks and issues, to include known vulnerabilities and zero-days as they are disclosed
