BlueVoyant is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Specialist with a technical background specializing in ServiceNow implementation and maintenance to join a rapidly expanding managed security service team delivering world-class security operations center (SOC) services. This role is responsible for participating in BlueVoyant’s implementation of ServiceNow and ongoing management.

In this position, you’ll be expected to implement our ServiceNow strategy working closely with several highly experienced ServiceNow engineers. This role requires a deep expertise in ServiceNow and ideally knowledge in security technologies like SIEM and EDR. You will work closely with product management, operations, and customer success teams to develop and maintain ServiceNow for case management, SOC workflows and related integrations with client ticketing systems.

Qualifications for the Role:

●    Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow.
●    Experience creating and maintaining advanced routing, client contact escalation, and multi-tenancy
●    Experience with case management, automations and workflows consistent with common ServiceNow modules deployments.
●    Knowledge and experience with a variety of security products and tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Security Tools, Crowdstrike, Carbon Black, Tenable, etc…is desirable, but not required
●    Hands-on experience with API integration across applications, networks, and cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities:

●    Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate development and rollout of new applications and workflows with minimal business impact
●    Focus on key ServiceNow applications including case management, configuration management database, knowledge base, workflows and reports
●    Working knowledge of the concept of spokes and integration into other ITSM platforms, customer owned.
●    Work with ServiceNow integrator to ensure requirements and deliverables are met
●    Build on top of the deliverables assigned to the integrator including building additional case management templates, modifications to existing templates, migrating of existing workflows developed in other systems into ServiceNow, maintaining and updating the configuration management database (CMDB), and knowledge base.
●    Translate business requirements in the form of user-stories (JIRA’s), into application specifications
●    Work closed with product management, operations and customer success teams to flesh out and implement requirements
●    Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow is implemented in a timely manner with minimal business impact
●    Maintain and provide continuous improvement of ServiceNow modules, applications, and workflows
●    Identify and document best practices related to ServiceNow development and core modules
●    Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps engineers on automation and integration within the ServiceNow platform and with core systems related to Security Operations Center
●    Develop and maintain custom integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications and services such as Salesforce, Splunk, various EDR security products and proprietary services via API.   
●    Provide feedback to peers, managers, and key stakeholders related to development activities and backlog

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:

Education
●    Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline/experience
The following certifications are highly desired:
●    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
●    ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (IT Service Management/Customer Service Management/Project Portfolio Management)
●    ITIL Foundations

Experience
●    3 + years of work experience in enterprise ServiceNow environment

Technical Skills
●    High level proficiency in ServiceNow and related business process automation
●    Hands-on experience in JavaScript as it relates to ServiceNow
●    Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
○    Scripting (PowerShell, Groovy, Bash, or Python)
○    RESTful APIs
○    Automated processing & parsing of emails
